Erler chats with Phil Naessens about the Spurs rotation

Come for the stats, stay for the gross generalizations about foreigners versus Americans!

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Well, these are certainly heady times to be a Spurs fan. At long last the whole team is healthy again and they're breathing down the necks of the OKC Thunder for the best record in the West, even though Gregg Popovich professes to not care about that at all. I wrote a column yesterday about just how little the Spurs starting five has played together, for various reasons, and it's gotten a big response from y'all so far, at least as far as comments go (JRW always tells me this is the worst way to judge how many people read columns). Still some Matt Bonner love out there, which is weird because you'd think the way last season ended it would've have hammered home the point that rebounding is kind of important but whatever.

Anyway, in this week's show Phil and I talk about that column, the Spurs starters, their rotation and all that good stuff. Honest to goodness Spurs talk, to your heart's content! You're not going to get this anywhere else unless you listen to sports talk in San Antonio and why in God's heaven would you want to do that?

After me, Zeb from Welcome to Loud City is on and he and Phil will chat about a variety of NBA topics, including, probably, the Warriors. Oh those Warriors! What will they do next?

Phil will also welcome to the show Joe Mullinax from GrizzlyBearBlues.com, the Memphis Grizzlies blog on SBNation. Mullinax has a football background in his personal life and he and Phil will talk about the quarterback prospects in the upcoming NFL draft. And by "upcoming," I mean it'll be on during the second-round of the NBA playoffs.

Just click the play button here because hey the Spurs aren't depressing for five minutes. In case the player above doesn't work you can listen to the entire program from Phil's site located here.

Take a listen. His show is broadcast Monday thru Friday on Max Sports Channels, Talk Superstation, Armed Forces Radio Network , Kozmik Radio, First Online Radio and Baseball Podcasts

As always, please feel free to share your thoughts of the show in the comments and offer feedback, good, bad or indifferent.
