Erler and Phil Naessens discuss the Spurs' need to get the top record

I swear I don't hate Danny Green

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Can you believe the Spurs have the best record in the league? On March 11? How did this happen? Weren't they trailing the likes of the Pacers and the Thunder by three games like a week ago? Why am I incapable of only writing rhetorical questions? When will I ever stop? Has this joke been played out already? Are you annoyed yet?

Anyway, on this week's show, Phil and I discuss my column from a few days back where I argued that the Spurs need to gun for home court advantage as long as it's there to be had. Now listen to me make the same points in auditory form and discover for yourself, "Ah yes, this is why he writes."

After me, Craig Brenner from Welcome to Loud City is on and he and Phil will chat about a variety of NBA topics, including the possibility of the Zen-master taking over the host's beloved Knicks.

Phil will also welcome to the show Joe Mullinax from GrizzlyBearBlues.com, the Memphis Grizzlies blog on SBNation. Mullinax has a football background in his personal life and he and Phil will talk about the offensive linemen prospects in the upcoming NFL draft. It's only two months away!

Just click the play button here because hey the Spurs aren't depressing for five minutes. In case the player above doesn't work you can listen to the entire program from Phil's site located here.

Take a listen. His show is broadcast Monday thru Friday on Max Sports Channels, Talk Superstation, Armed Forces Radio Network , Kozmik Radio, First Online Radio, Epix Radio, Abscape Radio and Baseball Talk Radio.

As always, please feel free to share your thoughts of the show in the comments and offer feedback, good, bad or indifferent.
