Lets' start this edition of GIF Breakdown with a nice drive from Manu Ginobili. He comes off a high screen from Aron Baynes, weaves through the lane from right to left and then finishes over Brook Lopez. It's hard to see what happens to Lopez, but maybe he caught an elbow from Gino.
A pretty bounce-pass from Danny Green hits the rolling Aron Baynes in stride before the big Aussie throws it down in traffic. It's always fun to see Baynesie stuff it.
Kawhi the facilitator. Here's Leonard doing his best Bobo impression, swinging the ball with the minimal effort required, just standing, watching and waiting for the play to unfold. When the ball comes to him for the second time a pump fake gives him room to drive but with Manu Ginobili cutting down the baseline it's easier to dribble once and let the open Argentine score.
In his 18th season Tim Duncan has swatted 34 shots in 16 games. That's 2.1 per game and 2.5 per 36. His career averages are 2.2 and 2.3. He picked up three more against the Nets and this one on a driving Brook Lopez is particularly nice.
Ginobili found Danny in the corner for a couple of threes with Duncan setting the 'hammer' screen. That's always a fun play. The first one here was followed by Manu making a three on the next possession. He tried to do it again in overtime but missed. Too bad, it probably would have won the game.
While the Nets are just standing around waiting for the ball to fall into one of their hands Kawhi is timing his jump for the put back. Whi was just 4-of-16 from the floor, but that's a sweet play.
This swipe from Ginobili that leads to a 2-on-1 and then a Leonard slam is too nice to leave out.
The Spurs will visit Memphis on Friday night and try to avoid losing two in a row. We won't be back with GIF Breakdown until the Jazz game.
