Is Duncan worth a look this week?

Even with three guys out for the Spurs, there still isn't much to be excited about from a fantasy standpoint when it comes to the Spurs. Maybe Big Fun can change that.

For this season, SBNation has partnered up with FanDuel to give their readers a chance at winning potential cash prizes in the realm of fantasy sports including basketball. On a weekly basis, we'll try and steer you in the right direction when it comes to your Spurs.

The Spurs are a pretty frustrating team when it comes to fantasy basketball. Popovich doesn't play his guys long minutes if he plays them at all. That said, the Spurs do have four games this upcoming week (10th-16th) and with Tiago still out, Tim Duncan should play a big role for the Spurs.

Tim has already been held out for "rest" once this season, but he's put up 14.5 points, 11.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 blocks per when he does suit up. With no set maintenance plans for the Spurs' veterans, Tiago still out with injury, and Tim playing the role of only competent big man for the Spurs, he should see those numbers hold and he'll probably even see an uptick as the Spurs fight to not fall any further behind in the standings than they already are.

So if you're playing daily or weekly leagues, Tim is a solid choice this week. If you're not already playing daily fantasy games, they're fun and you get a new team whenever you want. Sign up at FanDuel and get a 100% deposit bonus so you can start playing today.
