SB Nation has teamed up with fantasy site FanDuel to provide a chance for our readers to play daily fantasy basketball for potential cash prizes. Here's your opportunity to test your knowledge of the NBA against others for a chance to win.
The idea of the game is to build a team of basketball players with a salary cap. For example, LeBron James costs over $10k in a $60k league while Shabazz Mohammed goes for $3500. Teams have two of each position except for centers. Each team only gets one center. Check out the video below on how it all works and here's a beginners Guide for FanDuel Basketball.
To sign up follow this link, and follow this link to join SB Nations one-day basketball tournament.
Here are FanDuel's rules for you to check out. You must be 18 or older and live in the US or Canada. Please note that residents of AZ, IA, LA, MT, and WA cannot play for money. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you have in the comments below.
I'm playing as RockandHammer and I created a $2 PtR Thursday contest if anyone would like to play tonight. The contest starts at 6 p.m. central, so I know this is late notice, but join me if you can. We'll have more PtR contests throughout the season, so don't fret if you want to play, but can't make it tonight. Post your username in the comments so we can find each other.
Even though this is a sponsored post with affiliate links, all of the opinions in this post are my own. And as an FYI, FanDuel gave me some cash to play its daily fantasy games.
