Must Reads
The Hawks moved the ball and knocked down their triples to beat the Spurs in Mike Budenholzer's second trip back to San Antonio. I'm high on the Hawks this season, I think they'll host a playoff series, and they played a pretty sharp game. Even Ginobili was impressed, from Michael Erler's recap of the game:
"For moments, especially in that third quarter, they were really sharp," the Argentine confirmed. "They penetrated, they kicked, a lot of threes, they executed their plays well, they played a really good game."
I'm looking forward to watching Hawks basketball this season. They pass it well, they have Al Horford back, and as a Spurs fan, I'm rooting for Coach Bud to do well. Hopefully they can get the front office situation figured out and Budenholzer can go back to just coaching soon. Either way, that starting five is going to be fun to watch this year.
