Spurs Announce 2013-14 Preseason Schedule

Games against Moscow, Coach Bud, Dwight & the Rockets, and a re-match with the Heat that several players will probably skip highlight the Spurs' Preseason schedule.

Hey, we're only three months from the start of a brand-new NBA season! For some of you that's way too much time...for others that may not be nearly enough time. Info is now starting to be released about next year's schedule, beginning with the lineup of what will surely be hotly-contested (by the bench players) preseason games.

SEE! CSKA Moscow come to the Alamo City and be taken out for drinks by Pop!

CHEER! as Coach Budenholzer paces the sidelines of his new home!

LAUGH! as Dwight Howard seeks happiness in the beautiful urban paradise of Houston, Texas!

SLEEP! through the first rematch with the Miami Heat, as our starters will surely be doing!

What follows is the official press release:

SAN ANTONIO (July 30, 2013) – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they will host CSKA Moscow on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. to open their seven-game 2013 preseason schedule. The 2013-14 Spurs season is presented by H-E-B.

The Spurs preseason schedule also includes home games against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, Oct. 13 and the Orlando Magic on Tuesday, Oct. 22. San Antonio’s preseason road schedule is highlighted by a trip to Miami on Oct. 19 in a rematch of last season’s NBA Finals.

The Silver and Black conclude their preseason schedule when they host Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets on Thursday, Oct. 24.

Preseason tickets will be available to purchase online at Spurs.com or ATTCenter.com beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (210) 225-TEAM or at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or on weekend event days starting at Noon.

All preseason games will be aired live on WOAI-AM 1200 AM with Bill Schoening calling the action and preseason home games will be broadcast in Spanish on KCOR-AM 1300 with Paul Castro handling the play-by-play.
