QuickCap: Banged up Spurs can't handle Nuggets, 96-86

USA TODAY Sports

J. Gomez (Edg5): After a terribly boring first half in which two top ten offensive rating teams combined for 75 points, the Nuggets managed to set the pace in the second half and got out and run on the shorthanded Spurs. Wilson Chandler (29 points) and Corey Brewer (28 points) went off for the Nuggets while Tim Duncan (17 points) did what he could to keep the Spurs in it. The Spurs and the Thunder are now tied on the standings but the Thunder hold the tie breaker.

Cameron Archer will have the recap up soon.
