The Miami Herald revealed on Friday that the lawsuit brought upon by Miami attorney Larry McGuinness against the San Antonio Spurs has been voluntarily dismissed. The attorney claimed that the San Antonio Spurs organization violated Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act by sitting star players against the Miami Heat on November 29, 2012. McGuinness claimed to have "around 16,000 fans" on his side of the case. He had claimed an unspecified amount of damages against the Spurs organization.
No word yet as to why McGuinness dropped the case.
