There was a "generator malfunction", the arena filled with smoke, and the conditions were deemed unplayable. There is no date yet on when the game will be made up, but it will be in Minnesota. Unofficially, there was talk that Popovich smelled very faintly of gasoline, and it was rumored that he was missing a little of the hair on his right hand.

SPURS-TIMBERWOLVES GAME IN MEXICO CITY POSTPONED
- Game to be Rescheduled in Minneapolis -
NEW YORK, December 4, 2013 - The National Basketball Association game scheduled for tonight between the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Timberwolves has been postponed due to a generator malfunction which produced smoke inside Mexico City Arena.
The date for the rescheduled game, which will be played at Target Center in Minneapolis, will be announced at a later time.
