It was another game that was a bit too close for comfort, but the San Antonio Spurs came up with some big stops down the stretch, ultimately holding off the Phoenix Suns and moving to 4-1 on the season.
The Suns, playing without Goran Dragic, pushed San Antonio to the brink behind performances by Markieff Morris, Miles Plumlee and Gerald Green (yes, these are real NBA players). After a quiet first three quarters, Tony Parker had 15 in the final period, including the last six points of the game. Phoenix had a couple of chances to tie it in the end, including a Gerald Green attempt at the buzzer, but came up empty both times.
