GIF: Patty Mills steals and Marco Belinelli fades away to cap 14-0 first-quarter run against Sixers

San Antonio had a strong start in Philly. These two baskets capped a big run in just two-and-a-half minutes, that saw the Spurs lead balloon to 18 points after one quarter.

The Spurs rode a dominant start, including 14 unanswered points at the end of the first quarter, to pull away early in Philadelphia. These back-to-back possessions finished off the run.

On the first play, Patty Mills pokes the ball away from Tony Wroten and immediately darts to the hoop, where Marco Belinelli rewards him with the lead pass.

As Philly tries to inbound the ball after that layup, Patty stole it again, which leads to the next sequence.

Marco and Patty work the give and go, and Mills' pass back finds Belinelli cuting to the hoop for a layup that's blocked by Tony Wroten. But Kawhi Leonard keeps the play alive and the ball ends up in Marco's hands again, and he finishes with a fall-away.

This play really sums up Monday night's game. Even when the Sixers had a great play, like Wroten's block, it seemed to only lead to another score for the visitors.

The sequence resulted in a 31-13 San Antonio lead at the end of a pivotal first quarter.
