Free Event is the First Chance to Check Out the 2013-14 Spurs Squad

WHAT: The San Antonio Spurs are inviting fans to the AT&T Center for the Open Scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 6. The free event featuring a Spurs intra-squad scrimmage is a unique opportunity for fans to see the 2013-14 Spurs team in action before the first home preseason game on Oct. 9 vs. CSKA Moscow of the Russian League.

Hosted by Spurs broadcaster Sean Elliott, and featuring appearances by The Coyote and Silver Dancers, the Open Scrimmage will have open seating on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the lower bowl.

The scrimmage will tip-off at 2:00 p.m. and all fans in attendance can fill up on $1 hot dogs and $1 drinks, while supplies last, and take advantage of 20 percent off at the fan shop, plus special ticket offers available exclusively at Open Scrimmage. In addition, fans will have a chance to win the players' practice jerseys following the scrimmage.
