DADDY-O! Tony Parker and fiancee Axelle expecting first child

Congratulations are in order to Tony Parker and fiancee Axelle Francine as the two are expecting their first child!! As first reported yesterday afternoon, the excitement began when the couple announced earlier this week to close friends and family of the big news:

BREAKING NEWS: Confirmation has been made that our very own Tony Parker will be a DAD!!!! Congrats to him & fiancé Axelle!

No comment was made by Parker last night before the season opener game, when asked about this news.

But confirmation was made around midnight when Parker tweeted:

Hey just wanted to say that I'm very happy today... me and my future Wife going to have a Baby Boy!!!!

With the announcement of the gender, Axelle is at least 5 months pregnant.

Parker inadvertently annouced his engagement to Francine in late June during a fan talk back promotion with Tissot watches. When asked by a fan how he'd spend time following the Finals loss to the Miami Heat, Parker said "by spending time with my finace." According to the New York Daily News, the two have been dating for a little over two years. The International Business Times writes that Francine is a journalist in France.

So CONGRATS to Parker and Francine. The most important question here is whether Tony convinces Axelle to name the kid Timothy Emanuel Gregory Parker.
