Adrian Wojnarowski of Y! Sports is reporting that the owners of the new Seattle organization have discussed pining for current Spurs general manager R.C. Buford to run the organization.
The Seattle group, owned by Chris Hansen and Steve Ballmer, finalized a deal to purchase the Sacramento Kings from the Maloof family.
Wojnarowski also admits that Buford would have to be promised equity into the organization.
