QuickCap: Spurs slug a 99 point Buck, 108-99

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Stephen Jackson, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Patty Mills -- all Spurs key rotation men who won't be seeing action tonight against the 8-8 Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks are without Beno Udrih so they start with Larry Sanders instead. Sanders proves effective early against Tony Parker, who was blocked at the rim a few times by Sanders and Udoh.

Coach Pop bringing out the "Jumbo" package of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Boris Diaw, Tim Duncan, Tiago Splitter -- likely because of our lack of available SG and SF's.

Spurs finish shooting 36% FG (9-25) at the quarter, and gave up 32 points to the Bucks.

Second quarter

Cory Joseph, Gary Neal, Manu Ginobili, Matt Bonner, Tiago Splitter start.

The Bucks bench and players not named Monta Ellis or Brandon Jennings are very effective on the offensive end (17-17 FG). Odd to say the least.

The Bucks, 19th in the league in offense, are 56% FG, with 58 points. Incredibly strange.

Third quarter

James Anderson starts at SF in the second half, along with TP, Gary Neal, TD, and Boris. Anderson getting the minutes he sorely requested with a handful of Spurs out tonight.

Nando De Colo comes in and hits a 3, followed by Manu hitting a 3.

Spurs tie it up at the end of the quarter 76-76.

Fourth quarter

Nando is running the court right now and that's the first time I can say that with confidence. He's calling the plays, making brilliant passes. Excellent job so far.

Matt Bonner with 12 boards, 8:00 left in the game. Looks like he'll be done with this game with 5 points, 12 rebounds. Awesome job by Matt.

The bench finishes it out, 110-99.
