Spurs host Montepaschi Siena: Preseason Game Preview

Italy's Super Cup Champion seeks to wreck havok on the Spurs' homecourt

San Antonio Spurs vs Montepaschi Siena

AT&T Center
October 6, 7:30 pm
TV: HERE - RADIO: None

Montepaschi Siena is last year’s Italian League champion, also the Italian Super Cup champion, and the Italian Cup champion. Although they won many accolades last season they blew their team up and have an almost completely different roster. The coach is the same and appears to be still running his offense though his point guard first. Brown and Moss are the leading scorers on the team this season. The team as a whole is turnover prone which may be a result of their lack of team cohesiveness. This team is not afraid to shoot from long range and will drain the three ball when given half a chance. Their complete lack of defense except for Sanikidze, whom the Spurs own the rights to. He is pretty good on the defensive side, at least in Euroleague.

Game Prediction: Spurs by 30

As always Tony must dominate Fisher, and NBA league pass is recommended for those who are willing to pony up the cash. Almost every Spurs game will be broadcast there, which is especially helpful for those of us who aren't in the San Antonio area. Please don't post links to illegal game feeds in the game thread. Links to illegal feeds are not permitted on SBNation, but you can probably find them out there on the internets if you're resourceful and desperate.
