Yep, the circus is in town. Except it's not the circus we expected. Our hated nemesis hasn't really had a lot of off-court issues or chemistry problems, just a lot of injury troubles. Even the usually indestructible mamba has been shelved a few times this year. Tonight, the third member of the Glass Center Society(Oden, Mahinmi, Bynum) is out yet again.
Mini preview after the jump.
Also, be sure to get the opposing point of view over at Silver Screen and Roll. :P

I stole a trick from the Orlando SBN site and highlighted the swing matchup for tonight. Basically, we need RJ to do something on offense, because Artest can't guard RJ and Manu at the same time. Depending on RJ to step up? FML.
Key to the Game
Defensive Rebounding: Boxing out is such a simple concept, and yet the Spurs sometimes seem unable to grasp it. The Spurs can't afford not to box out this Laker team, because they will send everyone to the offensive glass. If they regularly get their own rebounds, we will get blown right out of our own building. If we can get to the boards first, we can [in theory, at least] punish them on the break.
