Spurs @ Hawks: Gameday Thread

What's that? We're playing an actual good team today? I guess we won't be putting up 147 points, then. Atlanta is currently a half game behind Boston for third in the East, so it's not like we can just waltz in and push them over like we did to Miami [in the first half]. The Spurs need to win this, because this is one of the "easiest" remaining games on the schedule.

Key to the Game

Cut Off Penetration: The way to beat Atlanta is to make them a jump-shooting team, and even then you want to make sure that those jumpers are being contested. This is much easier said than done, however. They have an amazing array of weapons, and they play unselfish basketball for the most part. Think about how Utah plays on offense, just with different personnel.
