James Maye, a player with the Dakota Wizards, will be trying out with SA tonight and tomorrow. He's a ~25 year old 6'-7" PG/SF with 3P range (48% on only 42 attempts).
I am not surprised the Spurs are working somebody out, but I figured it would be somebody averaging more than 3.1 RPG. I hope they sign him; it's fun to root for guys with ten day contracts. Plus, his answer to "What's in your CD player right now?" was "Young Jeezy." I am a huge Young Jeezy fan. Seriously. No, really. OK. So I made that last part up again.
