A source within the Sacramento Kings organization has confirmed that a company working on their behalf has filed with the US Patent and Trademark office for the names "Los Angeles Royals" and the "Anaheim Royals."::sigh::
It's really a pity that Sacramento can't do more to keep its only pro sports franchise. I guess Anaheim's not too bad, but I would have thought San Diego or Las Vegas would be their first choices.
