Spurs Injury Report
Spurs forward Tim Duncan had an MRI today which confirmed that he has a sprained left ankle. He will not accompany the team on its upcoming three-game road-trip (Denver, Portland and Memphis). Instead he'll remain in San Antonio for treatment and rehabilitation. A timeline for his return has not yet been determined.
Spitter injured with strained plantar muscle. Not too serious. He's expected to miss 7 to 10 days. A minor setback.
I originally injured it feb 21st against Detroit. Been battling through it, and I will keep doing so. We need wins!— Roger Mason Jr (@MoneyMase) March 31, 2010
He recently tweeted that he's been hurt since the game in Detroit on February 21st. This may explain his extreme Suckage™ recently.
Manu Ginobili, who has missed 11 straight games with a stress reaction in his right ankle, still will be out another one to two weeks.
The report was carried by both sideline reporter Doris Burke, as well as the Associated Press, and all signs point to the Spurs handling him with kid gloves.
