Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!

http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/PaulCoro/20009

It never ends.  There's always an excuse for failure, and it's always someone else's fault that there are no banners hanging in the desert.  When even revamping your entire team concept by making a big in-season trade doesn't work, bitching and moaning always at least makes you feel better.

Suns fans- take comfort in the fact that in ten years, you will be looked upon as one of the top 3 teams of your time to watch who never won a ring.  And as a team who couldn't do it with a talented core, had to break up that core in desperation of your PG's window closing, and then still couldn't avoid utter failure.

But again, it's not your fault.  It's all of us and the zebras.  When you're starting (actually you've been doing this forever) to resort to Mark Cuban-like explanations for failure, you know your dreams are in vain.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
What a whiney bunch of bitches.  Do they not know that it is illegal to set yourself in front of a guy once he has already jumped?

In ten years nobody will even remember that the Suns were a decent team.

Yeah, the Suns will be the Sacramento Kings of the late 2000's.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
Haha, I was wondering if somebody was going to post something about this.  I just laughed when Phx blamed their loss last night on Det "getting help".

Naturally, D'Antoni's continued boneheaded insistence on playing a 7-man rotation has nothing to do with his team making bad plays down the stretch.  Naw, it has to be a huge league-wide conspiracy to let the Pistons and Spurs win every game so that they can ultimately collide in yet another ratings-buster for the ages.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
The replay is even more clearly a block. Really I don't even get what the suns fans are whining about.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
its not just the suns fans in phoenix.  remember the littering incident in the baseball playoffs last year?  snakes fans erupted in beer shower after an obvious double play interference call in the middle of a game (not in the 9th inning).

i have also never seen as many poor losers in my life as the arizona state football people.

something in the water out there.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
I agree wholeheartedly.  Fans in Arizona are idiotic assholes.  Arizona mildcat fans are also notorious whiners.  They rarely actually lose games, rather the refs hand the game to their opponents.

I live in Portland, Oregon and go to professional lacrosse games here.  Even the fans of their pro-LAX team (though they are inactive this season) are jaggoffs when they play Portland.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
What was the excuse for that flogging they took last night? The refs allowed Boston to play too physical?

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
If you had to live in Phoenix you would be a poor sport, too.  It's a shit hole in the middle of the desert.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
My parents live in Phoenix, and you're right on.  Other than the ASU chicks and strangely comedic (because it'll soon be a full-time job for him) Matt Leinert local furniture commercials, it's a carbon copy of hell.  The roads actually get so hot in the summers that you have to be careful your tires don't explode, with the expanding pressure and heat and all.  Nice.  No doubt why people are so excuse ridden and sweaty with whininess.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
Hey, I live in the middle of a desert. I don't whine and make excuses when things don't go my way... on the other hand, most people around here do, so...

I live in Palestine, btw.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
Palestine, Palestine?

I'm guessing that would make the soulless, airconditioned shithole that is Phoenix seem pretty acceptable. Maybe that's just me...

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
Bethlehem, Palestine.

It does actually, thought the weather this time of year is beautiful. One negative is the complete lack of air conditioning.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!

Whoa.

Lotta history. REAL history, unlike the American West. So ya got that goin' for ya.

Plus, I think you get a quarter-millisecond head start on the Rapture, if you're into that sort of thing.

Yep, I'm pretty excited about the headstart I'm gonna get on the rest of you suckers. I'm telling God exactly what you all said about the FSM, and you can't stop me cuz I'll see him first.

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
Just turned on to watch phx vs. thuggets and denver is up 15 in the third.  Know why?  According to the phx announcers and crowd....

The other team is playing too physical and getting too many calls.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA.  As the world turns...

Re: Really? Phoenix...making excuses???!!
Wait.... down to 6 now.

"Finally, the refs are calling an more unbiased game."

I'm going to shoot myself in the face.  Not simply at the constant whining from the desert, but the fact that I'm having to support phx because I want to play dallas instead of denver.
