Game Thread # 80 -- @ Dallas

Damn Canadians.  Bunch a damn French-speaking seal clubbers.  Couldn't Steve Nash and friends at least make it interesting?  Nooooooooo, they go and absolutely maul the Jazz last night, leaving their magic number at one and virtually squashing all hope of the 2 seed.

Dirk Nowitzki and Dallas with absolutely nothing to play for!  Tim Duncan and the Spurs with virtually nothing to play for!  It's the NBA on ABC!!!

Post away.

Re: Game Thread # 80 -- @ Dallas
THank god this wasn't the playoffs. I really hope Duncan says some shit about fucking dipshit Crawford.

So Now players can't laugh on the side lines. Stern better make Crawford apologize for that crap.

Dallas sucks too, they played all their players and without Duncan we almost beat these losers!

Re: Game Thread # 80 -- @ Dallas
from Crawford's Wikipedia entry:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Crawford

"Crawford would later discover about himself that he had problems controlling his temper and sought anger management after an altercation with a coach. To this day, Joe continues to battle his temper problems, as was obvious on April 15, 2007, when the dickless son of a bitch handed out two technical fouls in two plays to benched Spur Tim Duncan. Duncan, who is one of the least disruptive players in the league, was only laughing and clapping."

posting it here for posterity

Re: Game Thread # 80 -- @ Dallas
"There were hard fouls both ways, then Duncan got a technical with 2:20 left in the quarter for arguing about an offensive foul against him. He went to the bench soon after, then was tossed from there because of something he said. He'd been laughing about a call that went against San Antonio."

from the AP write-up. am i mistaken, or were both of tim's teks while he was on the bench?

you ain't a beauty but hey you're all right.

Re: Game Thread # 80 -- @ Dallas
First: how fucking pathetic is it that a game can be won or lost based on one man's very fragile ego (Crawford). Second, Avery J is an idiot. He was obviously desperate to win this game (I suppose to make a "statement.") Instead, the Spurs should get a great psychological boost from this game. If we can come this close to winning without TD on the floor for the last quarter and a half, not to mention some awful calls, we should fear not these Mavs. If AJ had half a brain, he would have kept Dirk out for the rest of the game, once TD was ejected. Then, had they won, he could say they are still better than us even without their superstar. If they had lost, he could have pointed to Dirk's absence. As badly as he fucked things up, his middle initial should be "W." Fool!

Re: Game Thread # 80 -- @ Dallas
Those were more or less my thoughts too; this game was an overall positive for the Spurs - and I'm a serial pessimist.

Ah well... the rest of the season is officially meaningless.

chaos... panic... pandemonium... my work here is done.

Re: Game Thread # 80 -- @ Dallas
The Mavz are the not the 72 wins Chicago BULLShit. Nope. We should of would of won if not for the silly mental errors at the last 2 mins of game. Plus No Duncan. Even the MAvz know deep down inside they are not Guaranfuckinteed shit to get to Finals the way most teams that win 65 plus wins cos first of all the suns own them. The Warriors should make the 8th seed while the Mavz will win they will be pushed the way the Sac Queens pushed as last year and either Houston Rockets  or Utah dudes in round two will ruff them up.

Had we just hit one or two more tres we had won this game. BTW was it just me but there sure was a lot & mean a Helluva lot of SPurs fans at the game. Just like the rockets the mavz known the SPurs just like Horns are Texas favorties.

DA MAVZ WILL NOT WIN DA CHAMPIONSHIP THIS YEAR.

FUCK Avery Johnson!
I hate Avery Johnson he the most overrated Spur of all time. He not a good coach let c him take the Clippers to 2 back 2 back playoffs the way Larry Brown did. Let see him win this many games on an another team.

Also ALl this bs about AJ gettin his jersey retired is bunch of crap how could they even consider this n not ALvin Robertson who is one of only 4 players ever to have a quadruple double(hakeem, D-rob, Oscar Robertson the the other 3) yet they want to hang fucking AJ jersey?

FUCK AVERY JOHNSON. He never was San Antonio. He lived in Houston only played here cos D-rob was his boy and convinced management to sign him. Plus he actually think knows how to beat us just cos he used to play here. NEWS falsh AJ the refs and Napolearn Stern refs was what beat us last year not ur candy ass coaching. U will never b a POP.

He hit the game winner on 99 championship. SO fucking what asswipe u were wide open ur suppose to hit open jumpers fool and only reason u were open cos of the respect of the doubling of Duncan and the fact Ellliott gave u the shot cos u were way closer 2 basket.

Remember this AJ the only reason u ever was or ever will b anything was cos u were a spur u ain't shit.

fuck Joey Crawford
Here the way I c it Marc Cuban paid Crawford 2 d this and he told AJ to play Dirk N others to win the game cos of the $$$ had on this game.

Also Fab and ELson did fair enuff on trying to contain that Nazi Dirk who is another overrated piece of shit. Peo actually compare him to Larry Bird man that is the biggest insult in the history of basketball. Bird played defense Dirk can not even block Finley from Dunking on his FemaNazi ass.

Also according to some radio guy he said this is the 1st ever player to get kicked out and while sitting on the bench.

Here is my prediction. Every Game that Crawford refs for spurs in playoff we will lose. Same as if Bevedatta(spelling? who care spelling!) so if marc cuban pays the $$$ n get crawford and bevedatta on 2 games and plus dallas win 2 games no matter what they win the series in 6 or 7.

Also if Stern has any ballz he will fine or do something to Crawford actions. But he won't.

T-Robot is human?
When Tim got ejected he was laughing his off (at Crawford, I know) but most fans never see Tim breaking from his robot game.  It was almost like Tim got the ejection for breaking from his reputation and showing his humorous side.  He often complains like a cry baby but never gets the technical.  Everything seemed backwards.
