The Knicks are shameful and I wish Kevin Garnett was my friend.

Re: Game Thread # 17 -- @ Minnesota
Yeah it'd be great if you were KG's teammate Matthew so he could pass you the ball during the last possession of a game you're losing by one point and after you clank the shot and lose the game you can hear him call the winning team's players, coaches, and fans a bunch of motherfuckers.

yup - it might not be right away, but those three boston bitches will meltdown into one horrific cat-fight before the season is over.

I dont see the 3 guys from boston fighting each other, they seem ver confortable together...that said, they'll never win a championship as long as the real BIG THREE is healty

I'm not going to predict the score, but I will predict that Tim picks up his first tech of the year.  Al Jefferson will be scoring on Tim early, Tim will get pissed and try to be a little more aggressive on offense, he'll try one of his "I'd really like a foul call here moves", Eddie F. Rush isn't going to give it to him, Tim will swing his arm at him in disgust, Eddie will T him up.  That WILL happen tonight.  Stampler, if you are in Reno tonight, make that bet.

As many bonehead moves as Kevin McHale has made in his tenure with Minnesota, I have to give him credit for trying to rebuild the T-Wolves the right way. He's got a legitimate young big man in Jefferson to build around, he has stockpiled a couple decent picks for the next two drafts, and he will have some serious salary cap room next summer. Here's to hoping McHale doesn't screw it up, and helps Jefferson and the Wolves get back to being a tough rival for our Spurs!

Re: Game Thread # 17 -- @ Minnesota
Damn. That was a great game. I don't even want to spoil my feelings right now by writing about it. I'll just wait till Aaron does his recap.

One thing, though: Why the heck didn't Tony pass back to Manu on that fast break? He might've had 9 assists (somehow...) but that was a miserable play from our PG. Even if he made both FTs.

And Manu is the man. He won this one.

Re: Game Thread # 17 -- @ Minnesota
This really was one where Manu simply refused to let us lose. He was awesome in every aspect of his game. Announcers called him the "perfect player" then proceeded to be assholes the rest of the night, blaming the loss on the refs. The Spurs would be shit without Manu, simple as that.
