Houston Rockets Holiday Video

This year it's "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel" that gets the treatment from the Rockets. Gotta love that these guys are so willing to laugh at themselves and be laughed it!

Suns 10 Most Hated

Congratulations, we've got 7 of 10 as either current or former Spurs :) I wonder what our top 10 would look like?

Does he EVER stop smiling?

Dyess has got to be the happiest man on the planet. I could probably listen to him talk all day. Every interview I've seen with him is like this.

Donald Sterling heckles own player

6
LOS ANGELES – It’s not uncommon to hear Los Angeles Clippers fans heckle Baron Davis(notes). Of late, however, the jeers directed at the team’s struggling point guard are coming from a far more surprising source: The man paying Davis, Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Worst. Team Owner. Ever.

Mapping Why The Heat, Celtics, Spurs and Lakers are the Best Teams

A great graphic by Tom Ziller showing who the elite teams are in the NBA. Our defense could still stand some improvement, but is better than some people think.

Remember my friend the Lakers fan?

Well, he has a blog, Searching for Slava, and it's a damn good read. But y'all will especially like this entry, because he respects the Spurs. Read the other entries if you like his style--rewarding stuff.

Being RonRon

2

Yes, I know he is not a Spurs player, but I found this article fascinating. It did feel at times that RonRon was "playing" the interviewer a little by laying it on a little thick, but still a fun read. I find Artest pretty interesting. He is in some ways a modern day Rodman, not as outlandish but certainly more honestly disturbed. We also often forget how talented he is, and what could have been if he had a slightly different personality.

Will Lakers front-line doom the Spurs?

The Spurs are obviously rolling right now, with the best record and point differential in the NBA. But at that level of the game, it's all about how you match-up with the other elite teams. And I just don't see how SA can handle a Bynum/Gasol/Odom rotation in the playoffs. This is not 2003; Timmy Duncan can't go 3-on-1 on the paint anymore. Unless Spurs fans believe in Splitter more than their coaching staff apparently does? I think a good move would be flipping TP for Sacramento's Jason Thompson. Thompson is a 6'11 athlete who can defend multiple front-court positions while George Hill can provide 80% of TP's contributions, and frankly, I can't imagine TP is too terribly popular in the locker room right now anyway.

Because the Spurs have Tony Parker and the Hawks Don't

sorry if this has already been noted, but i enjoyed it. tribute to tony, and more.
