What lies ahead
If tonight was indication as to how we would handle the second game on a Back to back, I took the liberty of compiling all ot the teams we would face this year on back to backs. Allow me to reintroduce myself
I think it paramount for me to rededicate my time to this site. I joined this loving group 2 years ago because like most of you here, Im a diehard spurs fan. I live in Mountain Home, Arkansas . I work for Baxter medical center as a IT specialist, I have my degree in Computer Networking. My wife is a 1st grade teacher and a Spurs fan as well, she also likes the Celtics. I don't hate her for that, if I had to choose between Celtics and Lakers I would choose Celtics. We try to travel to San Antonio for at least one game a year, I'm ex Air Force so I spent my training there and I love the place. I've been a Spurs fan my whole life, my first basketball card was a David Robinson one, while others were imitating Jordan I was pretending to be Sean Elliott. For months me and my brother reenacted the tippy toes shot. I love this team win or lose and I love this site. I may not post as many Fanpost or Fanshot as others but I read every single article, I follow every single game and I read all the game threads. I love the "Fish pics", the F it spurs by 40 proclaims, the Bonner hate and the trade TP ideas. This site is my home away from home Go Spurs GO!!!. GO PTR.

Transcript: Interview with a Vampire Manu Ginobili
I just had time to get Manu's words. Figured you wouldn't really care what Romes had to say. Question topics are in parens. (On the "difference" this year): We are feeling confident now and our offense is going great. Defensively we are not quite there yet, but shots are falling and confidence is huge. Things are looking good now. (New strategies): We're trying to push the ball a little more and attack the rim a little earlier. Not wait 20 seconds before we take the shot. I don't know about now [referring to last night's 8 of 29], but we were leading the league in three-point percentage. (Contract extension): I know he [Popovich] was going to be a free agent pretty soon, so we had our conversation and he told me he wanted me and I told him I wanted him. [This said with a laugh.] I think I probably would have stayed anyways [if Pop had left] because San Antonio is my city now. (You make the incredible plays and TP gets Player of the Week--how do you feel about that?): He was the one who made the huge plays for 45 minutes, I just played for three! I know my job is to take the big shots or to make things happen down the stretch, but Tony Parker is unbelievable. (MVP chances): I really can't see myself winning MVP. I'm just very happy with the way things are going now. These conversations are way too early and inappropriate. [At this point Rome said something like, "You know, when players say that sort of thing, humble, too early, in most cases I don't buy it, but in yours I do. I think you mean it."] (Analyzing the West): I think the Lakers deserve all the respect as back to back champions. They are still the team to beat even though they didn't start strong. Dirk is doing amazing things. (TP marriage woes and effect on team): I wasn't worried about the locker room, I was worried about him. I like him as a good friend and I wanted him to do good and be good. We could see him struggling at times but now it's better. When it first started happening we could see he was devastated and that was hard to watch. (Rome asked: Do you take sides?) I'm his friend and I want to help him and support him, so it is personal. (On the possibility of becoming a coach): I like playing, not making the calls. I can see myself helping younger kids and trying to develop players, but not as a full-time thing. I doubt it. (Big name players going to big markets): I guess I'm different. I'm very lucky to be in a place where i want to be and where they love me and my family. This place has been amazing for me since day one. My goal is to finish my career here. At this point the interview ended. After Manu left, Rome went on to say this: Manu is the most polite guest in the history of the Jungle. (Plays compilation of clips of Manu from past appearances saying hi to everyone listening, thanking Jim for being on the show, etc.)
My very imperfect approximation of Manu's interview with Jim Rome on 12/21/2010

LETS GET TIAGO SIGNED SPURS FANS!!
ok since im in panick mode and im sure alot of us are not even worried about the lebron signing when it now seems the spurs are flirting with shaq in what seems to be an attempt to blue ball splitter, now i know i was for shaq but never thought it would be at the expense of tiago !!!
I looked up the VP of service & ticket sales i already called and left a message theres still a chance to ensure we get tiago and make sure they dont make another mistake. regardless of if your a season ticket holder or not these guys love hearing from the fans because it lets them know what will increase and decrease their sales, and pass the info to buford.
now i think if we take time to post here we can sure as hell take time to leave a message via email phone and twitter. dont be scared they honestly would like to hear from the fans
Joe clark, VP of all around service and sales
EMAIL: jclark@attcenter.com
phone: (210) 444 - 5710 just tell him you buy tickets frequently and are a major spurs fan worried about the status of tiago
spurs twitter is asking for feedback via twitter: http://twitter.com/spurs
we need to give them feedback guys
i have a feeling the FO doesnt realize spurs fans are aware of most of whats really goin on and if we put pressure on them to bring him it will definitely help so please do all three i have already!!! IF your scared at least email or tweet .
What Does PtR think of Dennis Lindsey?
I have little to no knowledge about GM's and their potential impact. PHX is supposed to interview lindsey, what should a Suns fan know about him?
