The Most Spursian Free Agents

This is my list of free agents who would best fit the Spurs culture (basically good value and fit spurs needs):

C: Alexis Ajinca (likely cheaper version of Aron Baynes), Aron Baynes, Kevin Seraphin (a capable athletic big to replace jeff ayres)

PF: Lamarcus Aldridge (the moody personality/chemistry issues worry me, but in Pop we trust, right?), Duncan (obv)

SF: Mike Beasley, Mike Dunleavy

SG: Gerald Green (cheaper version of Danny green, less defense, but more creative on offense), Danny Green, Wayne Ellington (poor man's Danny Green), GInobili

PG: Cory Joseph

Honorable mentions: Al-Farouq Aminu (good defender, poor 3pt shot, doesn't space floor well), Luis Scola (not at age 35), Khris Middleton (will never happen), Marco Bellinelli (can't really see him staying, especially if Manu comes back), Marc Gasol (seems unlikely), Greg Monroe (also seems unlikely).

Anyone else the spurs should go after that they could realistically sign?

With these changes the team looks something like this:

C: Duncan, Ajinca/Baynes, Seraphin (or more likely cheaper end of bench athletic big, possibly Lalanne), assuming Splitter's traded

PF: Aldridge, Diaw

SF: Leonard, Beasley/Dunleavy, Anderson

SG: Green/Green/Ellington, Ginobili

PG: Parker, Mills, Joseph

I'd say that's a championship contending line-up.

The implications:

1) Joseph is the best value available at point guard. Letting him walk would be a mistake. Parker's not getting any younger and Mills has not shown he can be the primary back-up point guard (he works better playing off the ball with GInobili in the lineup).

2) Green is great. He's earned his payday. But getting into a bidding war for him would be a mistake. His inability to create on offense has hurt us, especially when his shots off (see games 1, 4, 5, 6 against the clippers). Ellington and Gerald Green will likely be available for half of what Danny will make, either could be a decent fit in the spurs system.

3) Leonard needs a quality back-up! He can't defend the other teams best player and be the focal point on offense for 40 minutes every night.
