Final Score: Spurs win 107-86

Chris Trotman

The Spurs took control of the 2014 NBA Finals 3-1, after winning Game 4 in convincing fashion.

The Spurs dominated in Miami for the second straight game, winning Game 4 107-86. This was a clinic from the get-go, with the Spurs being the aggressor from start to finish. There's not a whole lot more to say about this win. The Spurs wanted it more than the Heat, and it showed on the court. After leading by 19 at the half, Miami made a run to cut it to 13, before San Antonio extended it back to a 24 points to close out the third quarter. Tony Parker found his rhythm early in the game, with 12 points at halftime, and ending with 19, but it was the Kawhi Leonard who was the star for the Spurs again, with 20 points, 3 steals, 3 blocks, 14 rebounds, and an incredibly pesky presence for the Heat. Boris Diaw was also incredible, coming so close to a triple double he could almost eat it. Miami was led by Lebron James, who ended with 28 points, scoring 19 of Miami's 21 points in the third quarter. The Spurs continued being aggressive even when the lead ballooned to 25 in the third quarter. San Antonio also ended Miami's streak of not losing consecutive playoff games since the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals.

The magic number now stands at 1.
