Heading to the "Bought Out" deadline by Saturday midnight, lots of rumors circling about the Spurs interested in the services of Danny Granger. It seems that a backup for KLeonard its the main and only target for PATFO after acquiring last week combo-forward Austin Daye.
This afternoon, Marc Stein posted a couple of tweets regarding Granger...
"@ESPNSteinLine: Whispers persist that San Antonio has interest in Danny Granger ... IF Granger goes ahead with extricating himself from Philly via buyout"
"@ESPNSteinLine: We repeat: Granger would obviously rather be w/contender like Spurs than tanking Philly BUT also needs to make sure he'll get PT w/new team"
What it seems off is the PT (Im assuming thats playing time) requirement. Thats not the Spurs way, philosophy or modus operandi.
