Opponent Game Thread: Portland Blazers

Hello Pounders! It's been a while since the last time I made one of this posts, but after reading a couple of comments

that other pounders brought from BlazersEdge, why not?

So here you have it and I hope you'll enjoy it:

Yeah, we're going to miss LMA a lot more than they'll miss Parker

SA is the scariest team in the league when sitting their starters.

Jokes can be noble. Laughs are exactly as honorable as tears. Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion, to the futility of thinking and striving anymore. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward — and since I can start thinking and striving again that much sooner.

This is the kind of game where either teams' fans will feel lucky to win it.

Some random player’s going to get hot probably and win it.

even with Tim sitting, I have a feeling this is a Spurs type of game.

I think we’ll see Manu, Patty, and Diaw all have big games.

Someone wanna finish this essay for me?

It’s due by 11:30 tonight. Blazers aren’t helping the cause.

I'm sad if this is indeed Tim Duncan's last year that we won't see in in the Rose Garden again unless we get them in the playoffs

He should have a send off retirement year next year dude deserves it.

Elliot goes silent everytime the Blazers score

sounds like he’s giving birth every time the Spurs hit a three

Never was a fan of Sean Elliot, makes it even harder to listen to him. Reggie is worse though.

Manu leans in, foul on Williams.

But when Wright leans in, no call

by KingWes on Feb 19, 2014 | 8:51 PM up reply mora2

Well when Wright gets a bald spot on his head, I guess he can get calls like Manu

This is a rare time where being healthy has hurt us

SAS is used to working with weird lineups, while our guys are definitely miscommunicating because they rarely play these 5 man units.

You could give the Spurs 10 80 year olds and they would still make the playoffs.

…in a couple years, Barton and Claver become effective and important bench players for SA?

I have massive and utmost respect to the Spurs whole organization especially to their foundation Tim Duncan, but Sean Elliot makes me want to punch a gold fish!
