This game went how you expected it to go. The Spurs were down Splitter, Green, Bonner, and Parker, but they were playing the horrible Milwaukee Bucks. The Spurs could have sat Duncan and Ginobili as well and won this game.
If you were expecting a good game, well, you should have tuned into the NFC Championship game, because this Spurs Bucks game was a sleeper. The Spurs destroyed the Bucks in every statistical category on their way to a 28 point victory.
The Spurs shot a scorching 56.6% from the field while holding the Bucks to just 37.5%. The Spurs connected on 11 threes on 18 attempts to the Bucks six threes on 21 attempts. The Spurs out rebounded Milwaukee 55-37. Tim Duncan had a double-double with more rebounds than points.
Malcolm Thomas got his first run of the season. He was a monster on the boards, grabbing NINE in his 15 minutes , as well as getting two blocks and even scoring two points.
