A Question With No Correct Answer:

After watching the less than sterling officiating of Game 2 WCF and reading the complaints from Spurs' fans and Grizzlies' fans alike, I am once again kicking an odd thought about my noggin: What if you could choose the refs for the playoffs?

Granted, it could have the potential of killing the scintillating "Uh huh-Uh Uh" discussions after each game as opposing fans bemoan the alleged biases of the refs, but...it could have the potential of killing the scintillating "Uh huh-Uh Uh" discussions after each game as opposing fans bemoan the alleged biases of the refs!!! There's nothing like trying to read and share thoughts on a just played game and "enjoying" the diatribe from folks (such as myself at times) convinced the game was a 5 on 8 contest. True or not, it's an easy out to excuse poor play or great play for either team.

Think about it: If a team could, at the very least, veto a ref with a perceived bias from calling a game cough cough Joey Crawford cough cough it would remove some ammo from the conspiracy theorists in all of us. No more "If it wasn't for that ref" whining. How could you whine about preapproved refs?

And so I ask you Pounders and Grizz fans alike: If you could either pick or ban a referee for the rest of the series, who would it be? The floor is open for discussion:
