According to RealGM (h/t to Air Alamo), the San Antonio Spurs are set to interview ex-Utah Jazz assistant coach Scott Layden. Before his coaching stint in Utah, Layden joined the New York Knicks in early 2000.
The open position comes from the departure of former Spurs assistant GM Dennis Lindsey was selected as the Utah Jazz GM. The interview, between Layden, Gregg Popovich, and R.C. Buford, was slated for today, Monday August 27.
