SAN ANTONIO (August 21, 2012) - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have waived guard/forward Derrick Byars.
Byars joined the Spurs on April 25, and appeared in the final two games of the regular season, averaging 5.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in 18.5 minutes.
