Portland has not extended a qualifying offer to J. J. Hickson. I assume that this makes him a free agent. he was due for 4.4 million in salary from the Blazers. I wonder how he would do in a Spurs uniform. In 19 games for Portland he averaged 15 pts and 8 rebounds and has a career avg of 9 pts and 6 rebounds. He has never made an NBA 3 pt shot. Might be worth a look.
