Since it's that time of year when Emperor Stern et. al. have been discussing rule changes, allow me this shot across the bow re: Heat-Thunder G4 in the waning moments and that jump ball 'tween Harden & Haslem.
Forget that RW forgot the rule when he fouled Rio and gave the Heat the car keys to the Finals.
Why should the defense be penalized after doing its job working the clock down to .8, and getting a tie up...only to have the clock reset to 5 secs?
I'm whistling this rule as a WTF.
...and I'm just getting started. Gonna rip the Rule Book a few new ones before I'm through.
