Maybe the Heat have been watching the Spurs

Last night, the Heat took a page right out of the Spurs playbook. They played a smothering style of defense against the Pacers, and on offense, actually tried to get their role players more involved. Points by Chalmers and Battier helped to contribute to closing out the series against the Pacers, who just didn't seem to have the personnel to keep up. Hell, there was even a Mike Miller sighting. Now granted, if they continue to share the ball, they might win the series against the Celtics (I know, the Celtics have not won yet....but they will)....but there's no way they beat the Spurs (I know, the Spurs have not won yet....but we will) in the Finals. Why you ask? Simple...our bench. No other team in the NBA right now, have anywhere near the bench that the Spurs have. And down the stretch...that will be the difference. But I got to give props to the Pacer fans, who when they're team was being eliminated in the final seconds....when they would normally be yelling "Let's Go Pacers"...they were yelling "Thank You Pacers". That's classy...I like that!!
