-The Spurs came out rusty, as was to be expected, but Pop's game-plan came through (as always).
-They committed way too many turnovers and will need to make better passes next game. Also, they will have to limit fast break points/lob city as much as possible.
-Are you sure we didn't have two 7 footers in the entire time? Winning the rebound battle 47-34 was huge.
-Parker's shot was not falling, but we still managed to put up 108 points, which is a great sign as Parker will be back next game.
3 MVPS
3. Kawhi Leonard. He played good D for the most part and grabbed timely offensive rebounds. His three bombs also helped him secure the honor.
2. Boris Diaw. He had the 3rd highest plus/minus on the team behind Duncan and Parker. Played great D on Griffin the whole game. Led the team in rebounds and was second in assists.
1. Tim Duncan. He turned back the clock at least several years tonight. Great outside shooting and some fancy finishes around the rim give him the top honor. And as always he played great D.
