Greetings, pounders. It's time to make your picks for the second round of the just-for-fun PtR playoff prediction contest.

To everyone that played our little contest in the first round, I'll be posting those scores in a separate thread. But, since we have at least one 2nd-round series(and probably more) starting this weekend, please use this thread to post your predictions.

Scoring

As mentioned previously, the point values double for each round. So, a pick that includes the correct winner and number of games will be worth 12 points. 4 points are deducted for being off by one game, and 2 points for evey game after that. An additional 4-point deduction is taken if you pick the wrong team to win. As an example, here are the points for each possible pick if Miami beats Indiana in 5 games:

Miami in 4: 8 points
Miami in 5: 12 points
Miami in 6: 8 points
Miami in 7: 6 points
Indiana in 7: 0 points
Indiana in 6: -2 points
Indiana in 5: -4 points
Indiana in 4: -6 points

Latin D has created another scoring system, which I'll add to this post later tonight. I'm not sure if he's keeping up with the entries, but we'll post the results for both scoring systems if he is.

The cutoff for entries for each series is at the start game 1 of that series. So far, the only one we know for sure is that Miami and Indiana are playing at 2:30 Spurs time on Sunday. To check what time that would be where you live, click here.

You are allowed to change your mind and post something else, but we will only use one set of picks - If you post multiple entries, the last one entered before the cutoff time will be used. As you post more picks, please reply to your original comment - this makes things easier on me.
