I was about to post this. Just read the story on yahoo. Man, that’s one guy I never want on the Spurs.

That’s an absolute positive. Means we’re heading where we need to be. Timmy’s mentioned the defense somehow starting to turn around a corner. The past 4 or 5 games have been very encouraging.
I do appreciate Malik’s commentary. Not Bill and Sean but nice for a change.

Also, it’s weird to have the 9th man on the depth chart to be in the Rising Stars game, compared to say, Iman Shumpert who used to start and plays heavy minutes.

My theory is that pop is trying to hide him and save him for the playoffs. Doesn’t make sense otherwise. Or he’s worried that Splitter will get hurt with too many minutes.

I have to say, I like what the Spurs are doing versus the 76ers, a very good team. And all this without Manu, TJ, RJ, Green, and with Tiago injured and in the bench for most of the game. Nice going!!!
