Damn 6 turnovers already for Lin

7 now. I choose to think it’s all Carmelo’s fault somehow.

8 in the boxscore, he can break the turnover record (14) tonight!!
"He was just a young skinny guy who looked like a winner. We didn’t know he was going to be as good as he is."
—Popovich on Manu Ginobili
He’s probably stressed out, trying to find what to wear for the sorority formal. Classic Jerry Linn.

I dont like the JR Smith signing for the Knicks

—Popovich on Manu Ginobili
It could end up badly if he hijacks possessions. But he is clearly more talented and versatile than Shumpert and Fields.

But he does not play any defense, and he going to take the minutes from the few guys on the Knicks that play defense. He’s a perfect fit for d’antoni’s system, but I think thats a bad thing. But I prefer him going to the Knicks instead of the Clipps

—Popovich on Manu Ginobili
He does not play good defense, that’s true, but he’s probably coming off the bench so he won’t be going head to head against the better off guards. And the only great SG in the East is Wade. It all depends on how focused and disciplined he plays.

I’m not watching that one. Is the Sixers offense to blame or the Mavs D?

damn they were winning by 14, what happened!?

so, are we going to see another Jerry Linn heroics?

Knick still alive

Lin is human after all

The 9 TOs hurt them, but I’m amazed at how easy he gets to the line.
"Manu Ginobili is the ultimate human cheat code, the password to the rim."

he’s really a shooting guard, he’s learning to play the PG, I think thats the reason for the TOs.
In SportsScience they said he had the same acceleration of John Wall

—Popovich on Manu Ginobili
he is a shooting guard that can play the point

I would give RJ for P. Gasol, I even would throw in Blair to help the lakers a little

Kobe for Manu straight up? I wouldn’t do it, Kobe shoots too much and we already have parker for scoring. But I’m interested in seeing how many Spurs fans would.

I feel ya, and although Kobe might be known as the second best shooting guard of all time, perhaps a top 7 player of all time, at this point in their careers, Manu is a better player because of his unselfishness. Manu is going to age so much more gracefully than Kobe, and from this point forward, or maybe for some time already, Manu is more of a keeper than Kobe. Seems redundant to even say because we’re mostly homers and this is Manu we’re talking about, but objectively, it’s amazing that Manu is better.

Manu right now is not better than Kobe. There is no way I am making that claim. But I would not trade Manu out of loyalty.

when manu rounds into mid season form he will be. kobe’s become a chucker that knows that he won’t win a sixth ring so tries to prove his worth by being the leagues scoring champion

perhaps, I really don’t know as I have not seen him enough this season. I do know that Manu is really not in game shape right now and will take a while, if ever, to return to the Manu we all know and love. Either way, I would not trade him for Kobe

Lakers are pretty lousy though. Yes, they have the inside, but the team does not have the shooters to make good spacing. Yes, kobe makes it harder on the team, but on a team like the Spurs, he’d do well.
In no way am I hoping for this non-existent trade, but in that hypothetical world, he would do well.
Winter is coming
he’s always been a pillow.

followed him since him being drafted in NY. Lee has always been better despite the discrepancy in draft number (same year)

True, Frye shoots way to many jumpshots and cant defend worth a lick.
Playing Basketball is my Escape
he’s good for what he is expected to do though. But I’ll take Matt Bonner over him. Both are spead-4s but Bonner plays better positional defense and is smarter on offense.
