The Spurs started this game holding the Indiana Pacers to 18 points in the quarter. A sign of improving defense, perhaps? It would appear that way for the first 5 or 6 minutes of the 2nd quarter, because the Spurs held the Pacers to 0 points in the quarter. Unfortunately the Pacers came roaring back, scoring 20 points in the remaining time.
In the second half, the bench got the majority of the minutes and seemed to do well. They outscored the Pacers bench 64-35, and held them to 32% FG.
