SAN ANTONIO (November 26, 2012) – San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan was named the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, Nov. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 25. Duncan averaged 22.0 points, a team-high 12.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.25 blocks in 34.5 minutes, as the Spurs went 3-1. Duncan recorded three straight 20-plus point, 10-plus rebound games from Nov. 19-23. With a block on Andrea Bargnani at the 9:41 mark of the first quarter at Toronto on Nov. 25, Duncan recorded his 2,500th career blocked shot becoming the ninth player in the NBA history to accomplish the feat.
