We’re killing ourselves with the switching on PnRs. It always almost ends up bad.

by silverandblack_davis on Jan 7, 2012 8:38 PM CST reply actions

Small ball doesn’t help either.

Balir as the only big doesn’t work. You either go as small as them and play Leonard at C or go bigger to force them to change their strategy. I don’t like what Pop is doing.

I agree. Spurs need a big who can match Galli’s footspeed.

by TD21 on Jan 7, 2012 8:43 PM CST up reply actions

And Neal was a freaking matador.

by CapHill on Jan 7, 2012 8:43 PM CST up reply actions

Neal’s getting a bit lost on D.

by TD21 on Jan 7, 2012 8:45 PM CST up reply actions

Everybody is lost. Their line-up is super weird. Good job by Karl.

He has been since he’s been back.

Winter is coming

by grego21 on Jan 7, 2012 8:45 PM CST up reply actions

I realize he’s not in game shape yet, but you can’t get beat that badly on every possession.

by CapHill on Jan 7, 2012 8:46 PM CST up reply actions

I think Pop should keep a super short leash on him. I feel like Anderson at least should get some of his minutes.

Winter is coming

by grego21 on Jan 7, 2012 8:47 PM CST up reply actions

I know Anderson’s shot isn’t falling, but he’s been a better defender and rebounder so far this season.

by CapHill on Jan 7, 2012 8:48 PM CST up reply actions

what’s up with Anderson logging only 6 seconds? like 6 freaking seconds??!

by juanlefuego on Jan 7, 2012 8:48 PM CST up reply actions

I don’t understand this as well.

(",)

by day_late_friend on Jan 7, 2012 8:49 PM CST up reply actions

My guess is Pop’s going with the hot hand. A game win this early will pay dividends later in the season when teams start getting tired becasue of the punishing schedule.

by TD21 on Jan 7, 2012 8:54 PM CST up reply actions

I think Pop is giving him chances. This is the only thing that makes sense.

Winter is coming

by grego21 on Jan 7, 2012 8:46 PM CST up reply actions

Better off with Bonner at 5…

Winter is coming

by grego21 on Jan 7, 2012 8:46 PM CST up reply actions

We need to bring in Tim and go on a zone defense. We can’t keep up with all their versatile wings.
