The two sides of missing Manu
With Manu Ginobili on the sidelines, the San Antonio Spurs have done a fairly decent job on keeping up with the rest of the league. However, they are now slowly experiencing the pain of playing without their emotional leader.

lack of emotional leader...
not to mention the fact that they are running on AGED legs… a championship caliber team that got old :(
Hope we can get some young talent soon to mix in

I do agree that Manu was a huge blow to the team, but other teams also have had huge blows to there team. When your players age you need to have a plan and it appears that we do still have a good enough team to compete… I love this team, i love TD and the sacrifices he made in staying here when Orlando courted him… SA deserves respect, i just wish we still had that team a few years back that could beat it out or pretty much anyone lol… oh well.. lets hope these young guys can and will improve enough to keep us competitive… with or without Manu…

Jeez… It was announced today he will be back in about 2 weeks. Relax everyone. Hes already started lite shooting.

Legs will be more rested since he was a rookie. Think about it. Hes played like 5 games in a year, not counting any international tune up games.

Point well taken
I’m not sure when will Manu be back exactly and our record doesn’t really suck because the rest of the players have taken responsibility… I’m just a little worried about the Rodeo Trip because our road record of 3-8 really bothers me.
Also we have to face Houston, New Orleans and Thunder before going on a 9 game road trip.
I’m also really positive about Manu’s comeback because he is well rested, I even mentioned in my post that other teams should watch out when Manu returns.
Thanks for the comment.
