Excellent game by Green and Kawhi … both play great defense and grab important offensive rebounds

by cuentaluis1 on Jan 30, 2012 9:45 PM CST reply actions

This is becoming a trend with both of them. Green just has to learn to control his urge to get out of control on offense

We were winning by 20 and Pop was playing Parker and Duncan and No Tiago and No Anderson

by cuentaluis1 on Jan 30, 2012 9:48 PM CST up reply actions

If I’m not mistaken, Tiago was there, but it wasn’t his best game and he had 4 fouls. So Pop had to put Tim back.

Good Win

But I hate some of the things Pop did tonight

No Anderson: The guy was just coming off his best game as a Spur, and thats is how Pop rewarded him tonight, especially with Neal playing awful the entire game.

No Tim-Tiago: I understand that this was a important game to win, and Tim-Tiago do not play well together, but at the end of the day they are the best 2 big men, and they need to learn to play together. Pop should have play this 2 guys together in garbage time when the game was decided, use garbage time for practice.

39 minutes for TP

I agree with all these points. I’m especially worried about burning out Tony this early in the season – doesn’t bode well.

HE already seems burned out and sometimes just misses simple plays and cant run the team effectively after a while. His jumpers are hitting the front of the rim…which means he doesnt have his legs beneath him

the problem is, what other options do we have right now? joseph isn’t reliable enough, neal isn’t a point guard, tj and manu are both still out for at least another couple of weeks. short of signing someone to a 10 day contract (are they even allowed this season?), there aren’t that many options….

Agreed. I just don’t know if there is a solution for this other than TJ’s return. Tony has to carry the load till then. Do we know when TJ is expected back?

2. 3’s
