I’m well. I’ve had her, everyday, for 8 days… so, she’s great and I am, too!

It’s great! The only down-ish side is that she was being SUPER spoiled yesterday. She wouldn’t take a nap. She’d get sleepy and grumpy and I’d lay her down and like 2 minutes later I hear “da-da-dad-dad-da-dad-ad…” I’m pretty sure I’m wrapped around her entire right hand.

That Cleveland team, let’s not forget Ron Haper for a few years, Hot Rod Williams, Larry Nance… anyone else? … would have mopped the floor with LeBron’s 66 and 61 win squads on 09 – 10. And his 07 Finals team…? Well…
I'm not as good as I once was...and that's just the cold, hard truth.
Yeah Harper was on there wasn’t he? I forgot all about when he was there. I remember him more when he was on the Clippers putting up some good numbers. You are so right about that team mopping the floor with LeBron’s team. But nobody would’ve been able to guard his big ass. LOL

Excuse me, I'm just going to go cry
After The New York Times Magazine ran Michael Lewis’ story that detailed Battier’s scholarly approach to guarding Bryant, their individual matchups have become especially fascinating. Even with his defensive strategy published and surely read by his foe, Battier doggedly forced Kobe to go left, prevented catch-and-shoot jumpers and avoided sending him to the free throw stripe at all costs (Battier finished the game with one foul last night, committed against Gasol). Battier’s devotion to data paid off. Kobe settled for contested perimeter shots for most of the evening, missing six of his first seven attempts en route to an unimpressive 8-for-21 shooting performance. "The numbers don’t lie," Battier said in the story.

by gunnin' gervin on Jan 20, 2012 8:08 PM CST up reply actions
yeah, it looked like russian ice skating out there… Floyd runs too much for my taste. a tactician would actually try to fight. this ain’t the olympics anymore.
You don’t like boxing. LMAO. you like fighting. I bet you enjoy UFC a lot also. He doesn’t run he makes people miss which is way harder to do than throw punches. He is one of the best counter punchers I’ve seen in a long time
One thing i can do...................is FINGER ROLL.
by gunnin' gervin on Jan 20, 2012 8:14 PM CST up reply actions
I love the sweet science.. Just a different style than you and Floyd (and Ray Leonard for that matter). The older I get, the more sports I like…
great boxers not fighters. You like brawlers and like you said it is a different style. I can appreciate both. I don’t see Mayweather as running as a matter of fact I’ve never seen him run. He just makes you look silly.
One thing i can do...................is FINGER ROLL.
by gunnin' gervin on Jan 20, 2012 8:18 PM CST up reply actions
I wouldn’t say brawlers necessarily, I love B-Hop and he was a counter puncher that wouldn’t engage as much as a brawler would… Mosley was good (although it could’ve been the ped’s), counter puncher but would get the KOs. And I love me some Vitali, he’s a heavyweight, but he’s as defensive as it gets..
so what do you think of Pernell Whitaker, B Hop, Roy Jones Jr.? They run too in your opinion right? LOL
One thing i can do...................is FINGER ROLL.
by gunnin' gervin on Jan 20, 2012 8:21 PM CST up reply actions
I liked Sweat Pee a ton too.. Roy Jones got sloppy with confidence… He deserved to get KOd like that.

man, I wish Don King didn’t kill boxing like he did… we need to get that sport back (and hockey for me, most people don’t like it though)
Don King didn’t kill boxing though. The lack of a big name heavy weight is hurting the sport some but it is still wildly popular because of Floyd and Manny
