Danny Green with only 5 minutes. I don’t like this. In a half where little to no defense was played by the Spurs, why not throw our best defender on the court for more than 5?

He certainly did for SDSU.
The Spurs scouted him in D League and liked what they saw.

He didn’t garner much attention on the defensive end, but his ability to play defense, hustle and do the dirty work will certainly suit him well with San Antonio.

I disagree. I actually think they HAVE to play fast to have success. I think the personnel they have kinda calls for that.

spurs don’t have to play fast, i rather see the spurs play to their TRUE strengths than try to play the other team’s strengths. spurs’ defense has been atrocious this season tho

Poor defense entire game. What stood out was when he got stripped. Bad decision to look for ref and complain. However, singling out one play during the course of a bad defensive night is not cool.
