Our british 7 footer is doing what he is supposed to be doing and that's dominating the competition so far in the warm ups for the under 20 division "B" european championship
I know a decent amount of the people on this website could care less about a guy who is not even playing in the top level of european basketball right now. But we have one of our most intriguing prospects overseas actually getting playing time and doing well in the process.
July 14th Great Britain will start actual tournament action against Portugal. Since basketball besides WNBA is over here in the states, I will be turning my attention to a player who could be coming next season to join our beloved SPURS. I hope more of you will take the time during the offseason to read up on Richards and GB's U20 team on www.hoopsfix.com
The link below is a nice write up about the two scrimmage games that took play on the 24th and 25th of June against Holland's U20's team. Richards has played well so far in 3 of the 4 scrimmage games the team has had while matching up against Scotland and Holland twice. In all the games he has showed a lot of versatility on offense and a more focused defensive effort.
